Lazio’s club doctor confirms Wesley Hoedt has not suffered bone damage in his ankle after the Rosenborg match.

The centre-back was on the receiving end of a tough tackle during the Europa League win, but couldn’t be substituted with his side already down to 10-men.

“This morning the athlete Wesley Hoedt underwent radiological and tomographic tests on his right-ankle for the after-effects of a blunt trauma which occurred last night,” Stefano Salvatori revealed to Lazio Style Radio.

“This morning the athlete Wesley Hoedt underwent radiological and tomographic tests on his right-ankle for the after-effects of a blunt trauma which occurred last night,” Stefano Salvatori revealed to Lazio Style Radio.

“The tests carried out did not reveal the presence of bone damage.”

Salvatori also announced that Ricardo Kishna should be fit to face Torino on Sunday, despite missing last night’s game.

“Kishna hasn’t trained in recent days, after complaining of fatigue in the adductor muscle of his thigh.

“Today he’s been training as normal, there should be no problems for Sunday. We preferred not to risk him, it’s better this way.

“Today he’s training as normal, the problem has been overcome.”
