Nicolo Zaniolo was absent at Roma’s training ground in Trigoria for a second consecutive day following the recent incident at his house in the Italian capital.

The 23-year-old Italian forward, in agreement with the club, did not attend yesterday’s training session after beating confronted and insulted by some Giallorossi supporters outside his house on Sunday night. Following the incident, Zaniolo left the Italian capital for the city of La Spezia.

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Zaniolo was absent from Roma’s training session for the second day in a row, something that wasn’t agreed with the club. He could now be at risk of disciplinary measures.

The 23-year-old is hoping for a last-minute move away from the Giallorossi, with Leeds seemingly keen on picking up the player, but it’ll take a definitive offer to pry him away from the Eternal City, with Roma not open to any loan deals, making an example of the forward.
