Arevalo Rios has already been signed by Zamparini to fill Migliaccio’s boots and the new arrival has been labelled ‘our Gattuso’ by his President.

The Udine-native also spoke about the need to replace Federico Balzaretti, who has moved to Roma.

“Sporting director Giorgio Perinetti is working hard, we need a reinforcement in defence.

“Maybe a left-back will arrive but let’s see what is on the market. We want a more Italian representation for Palermo.”
