The Rosanero chief spoke about his former prodigy after the two sides met in Serie A last night, when the Bianconeri came out 3-0 winners.

Dybala left Sicily to join the Old Lady in the summer and Zamparini praised him as ‘world-class’ with a ‘great temperament.’

“In the first half I didn’t see a great Juventus – But then they have Dybala and Mandzukic and we don’t,” Zamparini said to Radio Anch’io lo Sport.

“Reading the papers today, they seem to have torn us apart. But it wasn’t like that. It’s clear that when they have the ball, Dybala or other players make the difference.

“I was sure Dybala would do well with Juventus. He has a great temperament, before signing a contract with us he’d want to read it all beforehand.

“Here is a world-class player, at Palermo he only had Vazquez to speak the same footballing language.

“He’ll do very well at Juventus. His bulging muscles? If you become too muscular, you then lose speed. After many years of football I see these things, you must be balanced between power and pace.”
