President Maurizio Zamparini confirms he “will take a night to reflect and decide what is best for Palermo.”

This fuelled reports that Coach Gian Piero Gasperini will be sacked and Zamparini did not deny this is in the works.

“Despite being aware of the difficult situation that the team is going through, I am certain we have a squad that will save itself,” wrote Zamparini on the official club website.

Gasperini is already their second Coach of the campaign, having replaced Giuseppe Sannino after just three games. He has only managed three victories, seven draws and 10 defeats.
