The former Foggia Coach replaced Davide Ballardini on the Rosanero bench, his first job in Serie A, which has so far yielded a defeat and a draw.
“I liked his philosophy and I saw the lads happy to go out onto the pitch,” Zamparini explained to Corriere dello Sport.

“There’s a project which we can work on, but of course results count too. The Coach has already made his mark on the squad though, and it has been positive.
“Finally, after five years, Palermo are really trying to play football.”
