“If we had seven points instead of two, then we would be rewarded for what we have done. With Sampdoria we controlled the game, with Verona we did not deserve to lose and again yesterday we played well.
“Yesterday in the field there was only the one new face from all the newcomers and they remain in need of time.
“My past may have you believe that I would always sack a Coach, but with Iachini this is not the case,
“I have a good relationship with him. I have great respect for him, whilst the Palermo you see today is the result of his work.
“In two or three weeks you will see the real Palermo – we are not afraid of anyone.
“What are we lacking? The luck of Verona. Seriously, also greater cynicism , particularly in front of goal.”
Next up for Palermo is a trip to struggling Napoli.
