Manchester City captain Yaya Toure believes “Juventus were lucky” to beat them twice in the Champions League.

The Bianconeri already won 2-1 in Manchester and this evening Mario Mandzukic sealed a 1-0 result in Turin.

“We are quite disappointed. It was a 50-50 game and we had more chances than them. We were not clinical enough, that is part of football, to win you need to score goals and these things can happen,” he told BT Sport.

“Joe Hart played well, saved two or more goals. In the first and second half we had clear-cut chances to draw, but at the end of the day it’s 1-0 to them. We have to deal with that and bounce back in the next game.

“I think we missed quite a few important injured players, but we have a fantastic squad.

“Juve have been lucky to be honest with you, as we had the chances to draw and even win the game.”
