During his interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Miralem Pjanic said Juventus should ignore Antonio Conte and stick to Massimiliano Allegri who ‘never complains.’

Conte officially parted ways with Spurs on Sunday and has been linked with a return to Juventus, where he won three Serie A titles during a three-year spell between 2011 and 2014, before being replaced by Massimiliano Allegri.

“Surely, Conte won’t lack offers,” Pjanic admitted. “He is a good coach and I see him well in every top team in Italy, but not at Juventus at this moment.

“If I were a director, I’d always want Allegri. Max never complains, not even in a season like this when every sort of thing has happened. He is a top coach.”

Pjanic played 135 matches under Allegri at Juventus, more than with any other coach in his career.

Together they won three Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia and one Supercup reaching the Champions League Final in 2017.

During his interview with Gazzetta, the Bosnia international claimed Allegri would help Nicolò Fagioli become a top midfielder at an international level, confirming that the Old Lady’s youngster can become the next Andrea Pirlo in Turin.

Pjanic spent four season at Juventus, playing under Allegri and Maurizio Sarri and scoring 22 goals in 178 appearances across all competitions.
