Alessio Dionisi’s Sassuolo share an incredible goalscoring stat with some of Europe’s top teams this season.

The Neroverdi are currently experiencing an incredible run of form, shining under their new coach as they put in a late bid for European qualification. They have only lost twice since the start of the new year and have picked up wins against Inter and Fiorentina, as well as holding Roma to a 2-2 draw.

As highlighted by Opta, Sassuolo are one of only three teams, alongside Real Madrid and Liverpool, to have two players that have scored at least 13 goals in Europe’s top five leagues this season.

These players are winger Domenico Berardi, who has netted 14 times, and centre forward Gianluca Scamacca, who has scored 13 goals.

Just behind them in young star Giacomo Raspadori, who has found the back of the net nine times in Serie A this season.

Berardi has proven his attacking output this season as he’s also provided 14 assists, incredible numbers for a Sassuolo winger.
