More details are emerging on West Ham United’s offer for Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca, while they are also in talks for ex-Juventus target Filip Kostic of Eintracht Frankfurt.
The spending power of the Premier League is never more evident than at West Ham, who despite being a mid-table club, are currently able to out-bid Paris Saint-Germain for Scamacca.
The Italy international has a €50m price-tag and the highest PSG offer was believed to be €30m plus bonuses to reach €35m.
Sky Sport Italia claim that West Ham have bid €36m plus another €6m in add-ons, taking the total to €42m.
It still isn’t enough to secure a deal, but the negotiations are reaching an advanced stage and the centre-forward seems content enough with the idea of this move.
Meanwhile, the Hammers have also reportedly offered €12m plus €3m in bonuses for Eintracht Frankfurt winger Kostic.
He had long been linked with Juventus, who ultimately decided against making a firm bid.
Kostic for this money will be a steal
Kostic very good player, surprise no bigger club is signing him – especially for this kind of money.
