Inter captain Samir Handanovic didn’t even look at Ionut Radu while his teammate was leaving the pitch in tears following a costly error against Bologna.
Handanovic had been ruled out of the game because of abdominal issues. He was available on the bench but not fit enough to start. Radu gifted all three points to Bologna with a terrible ball control that allowed Nicola Sansone to put the ball inside an empty net.
Radu left the pitch in tears, reassured by some of his teammates, including Denzel Dumfries, who stood in front of a camera to avoid showing the images of Radu crying. Handanovic, on the other hand, didn’t even look at him and just entered the tunnel without saying a word to his teammate.
Inter fans have apologised to the former Slovenia international on social media. Nerazzurri supporters have often criticised Handanovic over the last few years, but many changed their minds yesterday.

‘worst keeper’? What, because he made a mistake? I’ve seen worse from Buffon. Perugia comes to mind. A mistake doesn’t make a keeper. It is how you bounce back. He certainly is no Karius or Joe Hart.
In training he is always joking and laughing.. never train seriously , he must never play for Inter… i hope he will never play again for his national team or in serie a

Hope he never plays again that’s a bit harsh isn’t it. It’s just a game of football sometimes you win and sometimes you don’t. Why are you taking this so personally?
Maybe you can replace him if he never plays again?

Wow what a captain. This explains why Radu doesn’t play even in Coppa games. The CAPTAIN is insecure. Wait till Onana comes in and the real mess starts. Hope Handanovic comes back and makes a worse howler. BTW Handanovic made lots and lots of mistakes before too so I don’t understand his attitude. Support the kid and forget your ego
Everyone can make mistakes and if you’re given two games a season it is not easy to be at your best when given a chance to play. A bit more respect for Radu would be nice

Well what should he do hug him hold his hand? Radu is a man and can deal with it like a man.
I don’t know Handanovic personally so can’t comment on whether he is insecure or what was going through his mind at the time.

Loser mentality from a captain. If that’s the leadership a captain displays, then you don’t have much hope.
@sl is that right league winners last season 2nd in the league with still a chance of winning title. Yet Inter don’t have much hope.
