Arthur took to social media to bid his farewell to Juventus, saying that he is happy to join ‘an incredible club’ like Liverpool.
The Brazilian midfielder has moved to Anfield on an initial loan deal with an option to buy. He had spent two seasons in Turin, failing to justify his €76m price tag for many reasons, from injuries to personal issues.
The ex-Barcelona midfielder said goodbye to Juventus with a video on Instagram and looked thrilled to join Liverpool on a temporary deal.
The Brazilian posted four pictures from Liverpool’s training ground following the Reds’ and Juventus’ announcement.
“Very proud to join this incredible club. I’m ready,” he wrote in one of the posts.
Arthur left Turin on Thursday morning with his agent Federico Pastorello who travelled to England to sign the paperwork and begin a new chapter of his client’s career.
