Pablo Armero’s move from Udinese to Milan is reportedly being held up by a huge difference over the player’s proposed salary.
The Rossoneri have closed in on the Colombia international this week and are widely seen to have reached agreement with the Zebrette for his initial transfer on a season-long loan deal.
However, where previous reports indicated that Armero was in line for a medical at the start of next week, the Gazzetta dello Sport report of a possible spanner in the works.

However, where previous reports indicated that Armero was in line for a medical at the start of next week, the Gazzetta dello Sport report of a possible spanner in the works.
The publication suggests that there is currently a significant gap between what Armero is asking for as a salary and what Milan are prepared to offer.
The 27-year-old, who at Napoli last season was believed to be on €1.3m net, is apparently asking for a €3m salary at San Siro, against the Diavolo’s intended offer of €1.5m.
Talks are believed set to continue on the matter between Armero’s agent and Adriano Galliani at Forte dei Marmi, but the indication is that if an agreement cannot be reached, Milan will look elsewhere.
