Valencia Coach Voro confirms Simone Zaza is on his way from Juventus. “It looks like it’s done and he’ll help us a lot.”

The striker is expected to undergo a medical and sign the contract over the weekend, arriving on loan for €2m with €16m option to buy that activates either after 10 games or if the club avoids relegation.

“It looks like it’s done for Zaza,” said Voro in today’s Press conference.

“Zaza is a proven player who was also wanted by the previous Coach and director of sport. Even though he didn’t play very much in England this season, he has character and will help us a lot.”

As report that he will be at the Mestalla tomorrow to watch his new teammates take on Espanyol before signing the contract on Monday.

The Italy international had been at West Ham United on loan, but the Premier League club sent him back to Juventus before activating the clause to buy.
