Fiorentina could be ready to try again for Roma loanee Alessandro Florenzi when he returns from his stint at Valencia this summer.

The Viola reportedly attempted to bring the Italy international to the Artemio Franchi in January, as Florenzi was falling down the pecking order under the new Giallorossi coach Paulo Fonseca.

After struggling to break into the first team at the Olimpico, the right-back eventually moved to the Mestalla in January but only appeared three times in La Liga before the League was suspended due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Corriere dello Sport claims that his time at Roma will be up this summer and the Giallorossi are looking to get the player off their books.

His current salary in the deal until 2023 might provide a stumbling block for many of the interested clubs and the newspaper claims that he might have to go out on another loan before he can leave the capital on a permanent deal.
