Villarreal have reportedly decided not to exercise their €15m purchase option for Milan striker Carlos Bacca.
Bacca has spent the past campaign on loan at Villarreal, scoring 12 goals in 35 appearances for the Spaniards, and has repeatedly expressed a desire to stay at the club.
However, Marca claims they are not prepared to fork out the fee they agreed with Milan last summer.
On the other hand, this may only be a ploy by the Yellow Submarine to drive the Colombian’s price down.
