Balotelli was not in the squad today when Nice crashed out of the Coupe de la Ligue this evening, losing on penalties to Guingamp.

“Mario Balotelli will not be in the squad against Strasbourg on Saturday either,” confirmed Vieira to reporters.
“It’s the decision of the Coach.”
Asked if Balo was heading towards the exit in January, Vieira did not deny it.
“He is under contract. Anything is possible.”
