Juventus midfielder Denis Zakaria underwent medical examinations in Turin this morning and could miss the next two or three matches.
The Swiss international sustained a muscle injury during Juventus’ 3-1 win over Empoli on Saturday. Early reports suggested that the 25-year-old would remain out of action for two weeks missing Juventus’ upcoming matches in Serie A and Coppa Italia.
Zakaria underwent tests at the J Medical in the morning and the Old Lady will soon release an official statement regarding his fitness.
Zakaria scored on his Juventus debut against Verona at the beginning of February. The Bianconeri return to the pitch on Wednesday, facing Fiorentina at the Stadio Franchi in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-finals.
