Timothy Weah has arrived in Turin and gave a brief wave to fans and media before he was driven away to prepare for his Juventus medical.

He was greeted at the Caselle Airport by a small group of fans and media figures, before being whisked into a van by Juventus representatives.

It has been a long journey for the USMNT right-sided winger, from New York to Paris, then on to Milan and finally a private jet to Turin.

The plane landed this evening at circa 17.25 UK time and the medical will be held tomorrow at the Continassa training camp.

Juve agreed a dee worth circa €12m with LOSC for the 23-year-old, who is no stranger to Italy, as his father is former Milan legend George Weah.

He represents the first major signing of the summer for the Bianconeri and was accompanied by his mother.

His father was not present, seeing as he is the President of Liberia and therefore rather busy.

Weah made 32 competitive appearances for Lille this season, contributing two assists.
