The midfielder unleashed a scorcher from distance into the near bottom corner, on the half-volley from a poor Kvicha Kvaratskhelia clearance.
It was only his second Serie A goal of the season, after a header in the 4-0 win over Fiorentina in October 2022.
Lazio’s social media team showed Vecino in the media section after the match asking to see a replay of the goal on someone’s smartphone.
“I needed that, I missed 15 and at least one went in! Good, good, I’m happy.”
