Udinese defender Destiny Udogie broke the deadlock after just 25 seconds in their home game against Sassuolo, scoring the fastest goal in Serie A this season.

The Italy international who will join Tottenham at the end of the season, found the net from the edge of the box at the Dacia Arena with a right-foot finish after just 25 seconds.

It’s the fastest goal scored in Serie A this season and the second-fastest one for Udinese since Roberto Pereyra’s strike against Atalanta on January 2021.

Udogie, 20, now has three goals in 19 appearances across all competitions this season.
