Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti introduced an intriguing new technique during today’s pre-season training session – a tug-of-war.
The former Roma, Zenit and Inter tactician split the squad into two groups and got them to engage in a tug-of-war contest on the training ground at their Dimaro camp.
Spalletti, with a whistle in his mouth, was the referee and declared the winning side who managed to pull the rope beyond the dividing line.
The victorious group included Victor Osimhen, Mario Rui, Matteo Politano and Eljif Elmas.
