Inter striker Lautaro Martinez was caught on camera seemingly insulting the referee during the Coppa Italia tie with Atalanta. ‘Just go to Juventus, then.’
The centre-forward was substituted during the 1-0 victory at San Siro on Tuesday evening, decided by an early Matteo Darmian goal.
He stormed off and his teammates tried to calm him as he made his way to the bench.
Lautaro continued to protest at the general approach taken by referee Daniele Chiffi to the game, complaining that “they whistle for everything at San Siro.”
The Argentine then added: “Just go to Juventus, then.”
Inter made it to the Coppa Italia semi-final, where they will face either Juventus or Lazio in April.
