Kvicha Kvaratskhelia raised a few eyebrows with his celebration after scoring for Napoli against Juventus, putting his fingers to his lips to silence critics.

The Georgia international had been struggling for form recently and had not found the net since a 4-0 win over Sassuolo on October 29.

He fired blanks in three games between Serie A and the Champions League, showing little of the confidence that had made him one of the players to watch in Europe this season.

So when his acrobatic volley was parried by Wojciech Szczesny into the path of Victor Osimhen to score, then Kvaratskhelia did get the second goal, he celebrated by holding his fingers to his lips.

It seemed to be silencing the critics who had started to call him over-rated in recent weeks.
