Atalanta were 1-0 down at the break against Thiago Motta’s Bologna, but the Dutch midfielder scored the equaliser with an absolute beauty early in the second half.
The 24-year-old received the ball from Jeremie Boga and found the back of the net with a powerful finish.
Liverpool are said to be interested in the dynamic Atalanta midfielder, but La Dea’s director Tony D’Amico confirmed before the game that he is not willing to sell in the January transfer window.
