South Korea defender Kim Min-Jae arrived for his Napoli medical on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old is set to join the Partenopei from Fenerbahçe as club president Aurelio De Laurentiis looks to replace Kalidou Koulibaly.
Kim, who joined Fenerbahçe from Chinese Super League side Beijing Guoan in 2021, has 43 South Korea caps since making his international debut in 2017.
He will become the club’s fifth signing this summer after André Zambo Anguissa, Mathías Olivera, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Leo Östigard.
Are you Napoli fans happy with this signing? Still have 40m from KK to spend or has ADL taken it all
Mohammed – I have misgivings about Napoli having allowed KK to leave, and I don’t know enough about Kim to really have a position except to say that over the years Napoli have done well signing younger players and getting them to grow into their spots. KK is a good example; Mertens is another.
I am choosing to be optimistic about the upcoming season, but am still nervous about the defense and especially about Meret being the number one goaltender. Cheers.
