A video that has gone viral on social media shows Juventus winger Filip Kostic responding to insults from Spezia fans after being subbed off in Sunday’s Serie A meeting at the Stadio Picco.

The Serbian winger contributed to the Old Lady’s 2-0 victory in Liguria with an assist for Moise Kean in the first half.

He was subbed off in the second half walking in front of Spezia’s Curva while on his way to the bench. Home ultras weren’t exactly friendly with the 29-year-old, but Kostic reacted politely, giving a thumb sign and walking towards his teammates on the bench, keeping his head down.

The former Eintracht Frankfurt joined Juventus last summer and has eight assists and two goals in 30 appearances this term.

  1. “Insults” is a pretty lame description of the racist abuse he received. And, perhaps not entirely coincidentaly, nice colour-scheme on the flags.
