A video clip of Massimiliano Allegri sarcastically congratulating Napoli for their impending Scudetto victory has been doing the round on social media over the course of Tuesday afternoon.
Juventus fell to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Luciano Spaletti’s side after Giacomo Raspadori found the net in the 93rd minute at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday night.
The footage shows Allegri laughing, almost hysterically, after slipping to a third consecutive league defeat, before turning to the Napoli bench and shouting: “Nice, you’ve managed to win one scudetto.”
Allegri then stormed down the tunnel as the Partenoepi celebrated their last-gasp winner.
Thanks to Sunday’s result, Napoli have moved within four points of guaranteeing the Serie A title for the first time in over 30 years, and could have the championship wrapped up by the end of next weekend should other results go their way.
The clip of Allegri’s antics was originally posted on TikTok, but has since drawn the attention of thousands across various social media platforms.
