The agent of Matthijs de Ligt and Paul Pogba confirms they are ‘very happy’ with their moves and Juventus ‘have been wonderful’ in working out the details with Bayern Munich.

While Pogba arrived as a free agent after leaving Manchester United, Juve have decided to sell De Ligt to Bayern Munich for circa €70-75m plus add-ons reaching a total €80m.

Both players are represented by Rafaela Pimenta, who inherited the role following the death of agent Mino Raiola.

She spoke to Sportitalia today at the airport, where she will fly out to Munich at circa 17.30 UK time (18.30 local) with De Ligt.

“It will be done,” she said when asked if a deal was agreed with Bayern Munich.

“We’re very happy. Pogba is very happy too, Juventus have been wonderful, we can only thank Agnelli, Arrivabene and Cherubini. They’ve done so well.”

De Ligt had his final Juventus training session this afternoon and signed autographs for fans before heading straight to the airport.

  1. Little sad to say good buy to this 22 yo good defender, but for sure everything should be good, he was taking 11millions a year salary, when for Bremer we will need to pay just 4 millions, its huge difference, and lets hope we will get even better performances from our new cheqper defender, much cheaper and better thats what we want to get!

  2. Sorry but are the Juve fans here confused? Your star defender wanted to leave your team to take a side ways step and get paid a little more than he was getting. That is kind of worrying that young players wanted to leave

  3. To gino: At bayern he will earn 1 million less that at juve, 10 million a year, but we had to let him go to not risk leaving for free, because his performances these 3 years wasnt superb, but he still young

  4. Good bye – didnt work out as we wanted to do, all the best to him.

Hope juve get Pau Torres over Bremer

  5. I’ll snatch hands for 80 mil for this guy. Good tackler and almost nothing else. That’s a very expensive tackler. Bye!!
