Dries Mertens scored his first goal for Napoli since becoming a father and little Ciro Romeo was in the stands of the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona to witness it.
The Belgium international and wife Kat Kerkhofs welcomed the new addition to their family only two weeks ago.
They are eager to make him a Napoli fan from birth, as he was in the stands wearing his personalised jersey during the 3-2 defeat to Fiorentina today.
Mertens scored his first goal since becoming a Daddy and celebrated in the traditional manner, sucking his thumb.
“2 weeks old and watching daddy score,” wrote Kat along with the video, although Ciro seemed more intent on napping than joining in with the crowd chanting his name.
