Valentín Castellanos has started his medical with Lazio before completing a €15m transfer from New York City.
The Argentinean striker arrived at Clinica Paideia Monday morning to undergo his medical examination with the Biancocelesti.
Lazio President Claudio Lotito confirmed his signature in an interview with Il Corriere dello Sport on Sunday.
The striker will then sign a contract until 2028 and join his new teammates and coach Maurizio Sarri at Auronzo di Cadore, where Lazio’s pre-season has just started.
