Antonio Cassano reveals what PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino told him before a meeting with Leo Messi last week: ‘I follow you, but you always criticise me…’

The former Italy striker travelled to Paris this past Saturday to watch PSG’s home clash against St. Etienne. He had a chance to met Leo Messi in the tunnel after the match.

He also posted the video of his meeting with the Argentinean star on Instagram (watch it here).

Cassano revealed further details about the meeting during Bobo TV, the Twitch show hosted by him, Christian Vieri, Lele Adani and Nicola Ventola.

“At some point, Leonardo went inside the dressing room to tell Messi, Neymar and Mbappé that I was there,” he said.

“However, the first one to come out was [Mauricio] Pochettino. He said: ‘Antonio, say hello to all the guys, Bobo, Lele, Ventola. I always follow you. But Antonio, you always criticise me.

“I was like: ‘Mauricio, we’ve always talked about your spectacular job at Tottenham, this is out of the question. Here, you didn’t do well. What are we supposed to say?

“We spoke for a little while and I asked him: ‘Who do you think is the best coach?’ Pochettino said: ‘The one who has just been sacked,’ referring to Marcelo Bielsa.
