The Chilean international, however, has all-but ruled out a departure.

“For a player the most important thing is to win trophies and leave a mark on people’s memories,” Vidal told  Las Ultimas Noticias.

"It is hard to think about leaving when you have been crowned champions and you are part of a great team.

“The people love me, I’m fine in Turin and my family feel at home. Why would I want to leave? I get on well with everyone.”

The former Borussia Dortmund man also discussed tomorrow’s Champions League second leg with Borussia Dortmund, but admits the League is the Bianconeri’s main focus.

“The Champions League is a dream in which I believe, one we can fulfil step-by-step.

“We have to get past Borussia first. God willing we can get to the Quarter Finals, and from there anything can happen, even if our main goal is the League.”
