The Chile international sustained knee surgery on March 12, but he is now close to returning to action.
It was the former Juventus, Barcelona and Bayern Munich star to provide a fitness update on Instagram.
"Third stage, on the final straight… God is with me. I am still strong and blessed. Let's go with everything," the Chilean wrote on social media, posting a picture from the Suning training centre.
The 33-year-old joined Inter from Barcelona in the summer.
He has two goals and two assists in 30 appearances across all competitions this season.
