Marco Verratti “is not worried” about missing Euro 2016 and will be back soon, said the PSG and Italy talent’s agent.

The midfielder has managed just a handful of appearances since October amid reports he was suffering from a chronic sports hernia.

“It’s all rubbish what they’ve written,” agent Donato Di Campli told GianlucaDiMarzio.com.

“He does not have a sports hernia, nor problems with his bones. It is just an inflammation of the adductors.

“We are not worried about the Euros, this will be resolved in a short space of time.”

Verratti was called up by the Italy squad for friendlies against Spain and Germany, but only stayed long enough to undergo more in-depth tests with the Azzurri medical staff.
