The Italy international spoke to Goal.com about his future, as well as the atmosphere in the locker room and his best role on the pitch.

“You never know what can happen in the future,” said the 22-year-old.

“I’m doing well where I am and I’m not thinking about changing clubs.

“I’ll begin to consider leaving on the day that I no longer feel good at PSG or when the club decides to sell me.

“England, Spain and a return to Italy are possible options. The project is the most important thing.

“There aren’t any ‘crazy’ guys in the PSG locker room, but [Ezequiel] Lavezzi is definitely the funniest.

“With the national team, we always have great laughs with [Andrea] Pirlo, even if he gives off the impression from the outside of being too serious.

“The role as the midfield fulcrum, switching play, is where I’m at my best.

“The Coach gives me great freedom of movement and I think this is the perfect role for me, but I can also do well as a pure playmaker.”
