Marco Verratti is “pleased” to be linked with Juventus and Real Madrid, but would be even happier if Paul Pogba joined him at PSG.

The Italy midfielder spoke to Sky Sport Italia and was asked about the on-going reports he is a main transfer target for Juve this summer.

“I am very happy at Paris Saint-Germain. Every year rumours seem to emerge that I am going to Juventus, so this story has been going for a long time.

“Clearly I am pleased to be of interest to a club like Juve, but I repeat I am very happy in Paris.”

Verratti has also been linked with Real Madrid, where he’d reunite with former PSG Coach Carlo Ancelotti.

“I speak to Ancelotti often and we have an excellent rapport. I grew up a lot under his tutelage and I’d love to work with him again.

“As I said though, I am happy at PSG and would only look around if I was told I no longer had a place in the project.”

If Verratti won’t go to Turin in order to play alongside Pogba, then he’d like the idea of being his teammate in Ligue 1.

“Seeing as we went out of the Champions League, we are clearly lacking something. The arrival of someone like Pogba could certainly improve the team.”
