Hellas Verona have reportedly joined Atalanta in the race to sign former Lazio playmaker Cristian Ledesma.
The 32-year-old was released by the Biancocelesti at the end of last season after eight years in Rome.
Tuttosport have reported today that Hellas are looking to add another midfielder to their squad ahead of the new season and are following the Italy international.
However, the paper believes that the Bentegodi side could face competition from fellow Serie A side Atalanta, as well as from the MLS.
