Hellas Verona coach Igor Tudor has recovered from coronavirus and will be back in the dugout for the match against Empoli in Serie A.

The Gialloblu are currently preparing for the return of Serie A after the international break and the coach will be back in charge after a period out with COVID-19.

Hellas Verona: Tudor positive for COVID

The Croatian, who replaced Eusebio Di Francesco in September, was ‘placed in home isolation’ on November 9.

Hellas Verona have turned things around under Tudor and are unbeaten in the last four Serie A games, sitting 10th in the top flight.

Hellas Verona FC announce that the latest diagnostic tests for COVID-19 carried out by coach Igor Tudor have given a negative result,” the club wrote in a statement on their official website.

“The Gialloblu coach can therefore return to regular activity.”
