Hellas Verona confirm their players and staff tested negative for COVID-19, so training can resume from tomorrow.

All the Serie A clubs are holding medical screenings this week, with swabs and then blood tests, to ensure nobody carrying the coronavirus steps into the sanitised training ground.

A statement released by Verona notes all the tests came back negative.

From tomorrow May 8, players can begin solo training at the Paradiso centre in Peschiera.

From tomorrow May 8, players can begin solo training at the Paradiso centre in Peschiera.

They must maintain social distancing guidelines, so their arrival will be staggered over the three training camps to ensure there is no contact.

As per the protocol, each athlete will be provided with a personal kit and must shower at home rather than use the local facilities.
