Matias Vecino has arrived in Milan, as he prepares to complete a move from Fiorentina to Inter.

The Viola confirmed earlier today that the Nerazzurri intended to activate the €24m release clause in the midfielder’s contract.

It was then reported that the Uruguayan had agreed on a four-year contract worth €2.5m per season, and this evening he has arrived in Milan.

Vecino arrived at Stazione Centrale just after 20.00 Italian time, and is expected to take his medicals at the Humanitas clinic tomorrow.

He will become the second Fiorentina midfielder to make the move to Inter this summer, after Borja Valero also joined.
