Antonio Conte will reportedly ask Franco Vazquez, Jose Mauri and Gianluca Gaudino to play for Italy.

The Coach has made no secret of his intention to find more ‘Oriundi’ who can represent the Azzurri, as there are so few home-grown players regularly in action in Serie A.

He already asked Palermo striker Paulo Dybala and was turned down, as it is his “dream” to play with Leo Messi for Argentina.

Rosanero teammate and fellow Argentine Vazquez is more open to the idea and could well be included in the next get-together.
