Interviewed by the Argentinean edition of Goal.com, the attacking midfielder began in assessing his situation at current club Palermo.

“I must say that [Coach Giuseppe] Iachini helped me a lot by having me play as a second striker with defensive roles,” Vazquez explained.

“It's the same role I had in [Atletico] Belgrano, and it gives me a much broader range of play.

“And I'm facilitated by having players like [Edgar] Barreto, [Paulo] Dybala and Enzo Maresca by my side.”

“The future? I have a contract until June 2016 and at the moment I'm only thinking about doing well with the Palermo shirt.

“It's obvious that everyone wants to grow professionally and keep doing always greater things.”
