Marco van Ginkel insists Milan are focused on their League campaign, as they face back-to-back games with Lazio.

The Rossoneri take on their Roman rivals at Olimpico on Saturday, before meeting the Aquile again in the Coppa Italia at San Siro on Tuesday.

“We haven’t started the year well,” Van Ginkel admitted in an interview with Milan Channel.

“On Saturday we have a tough match against Lazio, but we know what we’re capable of and we’re ready.

“We haven’t started the year well,” Van Ginkel admitted in an interview with Milan Channel.

“On Saturday we have a tough match against Lazio, but we know what we’re capable of and we’re ready.

“We’ll do everything to get the points against Lazio. They’re a good team, we won the first game 3-1, it’ll be a good game.

“For now we’re only focused on the League, then we’ll think of Tuesday’s game and the Coppa Italia.

“Even though we’ve dropped a few points in recent games, the atmosphere in the squad is good. We hope to improve in the coming games.

“We have a few players out through injury, so we need everyone given we have two games in just a few days.

“We all need to be very focused on the next two games against Lazio.”
