“I can confirm that Daniel is being followed by a lot by clubs in Italy and France,” Christophe Henrotay told Calciomercato.it. “However, his priority is a renewal at Bayern.
“He is an excellent player who is liked by a variety of teams, but Bayern Munich remain our preferred choice.”
Bayern signed the Belgian centre-back in the summer of 2006 from Hamburg.
