Manchester United are ready to bid €40m for Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan, according to reports in Italy.

The Belgian midfielder is co-owned by the Giallorossi and Cagliari, so any prospective buyer would have to negotiate a fee with both. It was thought that Roma buying his other half was a formalilty, but new reports indicate that might not be the case.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Manchester United are willing to pay up to €40m to secure the signature of the combative midfielder.

Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal are also thought to be monitoring the player, but the newspaper believes that it’s the Red Devils who are in pole position for his signature.

Nainggolan has been one of the Lupi’s best players this season, making 18 Serie A appearances, scoring three goals and assisting one from his midfield role.
