According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester United striker Anthony Martial is open to joining Juventus in January, with the Bianconeri considering a loan move.

The Frenchman has struggled with playing time at Old Trafford and is pushing to leave the club in January.

His agent has made clear that Martial wants to get more playing time, so he will talk to the Red Devils to discuss a move in January.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are among the clubs interested in securing his services.

Why Icardi, not Martial, is the answer to Juventus’ problems in attack

The Serie A giants need a striker in the winter transfer window but have a tiny transfer budget, so they are considering signing the player on loan with an option to buy.

It remains to be seen if Man United are open to selling their striker on a temporary deal.

Martial has scored one goal in ten appearances with Man United this season.

Juventus have also been linked with other strikers as well, including Martial’s teammate Edinson Cavani, PSG’s Mauro Icardi and Sassuolo‘s Gianluca Scamacca.

  1. The more I think about this, I think it’s a good move.

He could potentially be a bit like Henry type player if he’s used as an out and out striker, as he has the skill set to drive at defenders using pace and skill, something we currently lack.

He can also be used as a wide forward in a 4-3-3 as he’s accustomed to playing wide, another area where we fall down.

He’ll also be very determined to prove a lot of people wrong and will have the right mindset too.

Bring it on I say, along with Icardi, another with a lot to prove.

  2. Martial will another useless signing for Juventus if this happens
Juventus can save money by giving homegrown talents in that area time to gain experience and prove their worth
This guy won’t add much different to Juventus. Making Juventus more like a midtable club.

  3. Walha the problem is the media and fans wont give juve time to use homegrown talents and the results expected from such a project. To win tomorrow you cannot use burgeoning talsnta you need first class proven winners.

  4. Gio the coach has to show more trust in youngster he has to have the courage to trust players or improve them. I think Fagioli is already 20 years old and he send such a talented player to play in serie B.
instead of letting him competing for a midfiel spot with Arthur or rabiot . These 2 players offering nothing special.
