The Nerazzurri’s debut under their returned Coach ended in a 1-1 draw with city rivals the Rossoneri, after Joel Obi’s second-half finish cancelled out Jeremy Menez’s opener.

For Corradi, the ability to come back into the game can be credited to Mancini.

“Inter began well, but they conceded their goal on the counter-attack,” considered the retired striker post-match.

“Perhaps under Mazzarri the team would have flaked after that goal conceded, but as it was, they did not.

“There was a great reaction from the Nerazzurri.”
