Under-21 boss Ciro Ferrara has praised his players after 10-man Italy beat Liechtenstein 7-2 on Thursday.

"Games can become complicated," former Juventus” data-scaytid=”6″>Juventus defender and Coach Ferrara stated after the European Championship qualifier.
"Who would have thought that we would have fell behind so soon into the game and then be down to 10-men after 15 minutes?
"I have to compliment the boys as everyone made great sacrifices out there," he continued.
Ferrara also hailed Manolo Gabbiadini of Atalanta” data-scaytid=”10″>Atalanta and Napoli-owned striker Lorenzo Insigne after they grabbed five goals between them – a hat-trick and a brace respectively.
"Gabbiadini and Insigne are very strong players, but the whole squad is interesting," the tactician added.
"Pescara's Insigne is not a surprise for me, he's been doing well since last season, but he did some good things on his debut. In my opinion, he's a great player."
There were lessons to learn from the resounding victory though, especially for Roma youngster Borini.
"Borini made a mistake. The referee was perhaps a little too severe, but I'll have to talk to the player. It went well today, but a side is usually penalised by these incidents."
The former Chelsea player was dismissed for two yellow cards – the second for coming back on the field of play without the referee's permission.
